Boys Need Pedicures Too!

After our romantic couples massage date did not go as well as planned, I wanted to try another spa date idea - so this week I took Adam to get his first pedicure! While the pedicure date idea took quite a bit of convincing, it turned out to be quite a lot of fun.

Last week friends of ours made plans to take us on a blind double date. The idea was that our friends would plan a Saturday adventure without letting us know what we’d get up to until the day of. Armed only with the knowledge that we would be spending time outside, on Saturday morning we dressed for the cold and waited in anticipation to start our blind date.

Blind Dates are often seen as a cliche (sometimes hellish) rite of passage for single people. If you’ve ever had a classic blind date go wrong, I think you’d agree that they are not something you’d relish going back to. With that being said, we have recently discovered that being in a relationship doesn’t have to mean the end of your blind dates. In fact, it can mean the start of a new kind of blind date and a very, very fun experience.

That being said, when I found a special for a psychic reading on Wagjag, I simply couldn’t help myself. This website is all about trying new things and a psychic date certainly is new for us. Besides, I’ve always been a little curious… just how accurate are fortune readings?

Living in Canada, we have to deal with more than our fair share of the cold and long winter months. In the past, our instinct has been to bundle up and hibernate but this year we decided to use our frozen playground as inspiration for some winter date ideas. Our first adventure – snowshoeing!

Merry Christmas from Never a Dull Date!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Instead of posting a date this week we have chosen to direct our attention towards family and friends but we still wanted to thank everyone for reading and sharing in all of the fun date ideas we’ve posted so far.

December was really our first full month of existence and we could not be happier with the response we’ve gotten from the site. We never imagined that our first 30 days would be so successful, so again thanks to everyone who read, commented and shared our date night ideas across the web.

Starting on Jan 1st we’ll be back to posting a date every Sunday and we have some awesome date ideas lined up for the new year! We are really excited to continue growing our community and we hope that you will remain an active part of it.

Have a very merry Christmas and happy New Year!

Thanks,
Never a Dull Date.

When The Naked Sprout – our neighbourhood’s first vegan and raw foods restaurant – opened, I knew it would make for a creative date idea. As both of us are trying to eat healthier, this one wasn’t a hard sell. I also knew that this week we’d be pressed for time so a quick lunch at a cafe seemed like a fun date idea for the two of us.
